Your role in helping us shape the future:

U.S. News & World Report is hiring for a one-year paid intern on the Account Management team. This individual will be trained on U.S. News processes and develop useful skills within the advertising industry. They will partner internally with our sales team as well as externally with clients to ensure advertising campaign success.

This hands-on role is ideal for a motivated individual with a strong interest in both client relations and advertising account management. The ideal candidate will have previous internship or university experience within the advertising industry.

Are you up to the challenge?

  • Day to day management of online advertising campaigns

  • Responsible for set up of campaign and order management

  • Monitor daily campaign performance and seek opportunities for optimization and performance improvement against advertiser KPI’s

  • Provide clients with regular campaign reporting

  • Create post-campaign summary reporting and overall analysis

  • Manage and be accountable for billing reconciliation and reporting

  • Develop and maintain close client relationships which includes thoroughly preparing for client calls and meetings

 
Position Requirements

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field

  • Previous experience with digital media and/or advertising at a media company, brand, agency or relevant coursework

  • Successful in fast-paced client facing environment

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Proactive attitude with the desire to learn our business and become a key player on a results-oriented team

  • Detail oriented and organized with a strong ability to multitask, must be able to juggle multiple projects

  • Office Information: Must be located in the NYC area and able to be in-person in the office on Tuesdays and when required.

Preferred, Not Required:

  • Experience with platforms such as Google Ad Manager, Data Management Platform (DMP), Google Analytics, data visualization software etc.
