The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of sales-related experience, along with a strong understanding of the video and live event industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and Pursue Business Opportunities: Prospect and develop new business relationships with potential clients in various industries. Identify opportunities for partnerships, collaborations, and revenue growth.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients. Understand their needs, objectives, and challenges to offer tailored solutions that meet and exceed expectations.
Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and revenue targets. Continuously analyze market trends and competitors to identify areas for growth and improvement.
Proposal Development and Presentation: Prepare compelling proposals, presentations, and pitches to effectively communicate the value proposition of Mills James' services. Present proposals to clients and negotiate contracts to secure new business.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including production, creative, and operations, to ensure seamless execution of client projects. Communicate client requirements and expectations to ensure alignment across all departments.
Market Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, potential clients, and industry opportunities. Utilize market insights to develop targeted sales strategies and positioning strategies.
Networking and Industry Engagement: Represent Mills James at industry events, conferences, and networking functions. Build a strong professional network within the video and event industry to enhance brand visibility and generate business leads.

We're looking for an individual with some or all of the following qualities:
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
3-5 years of experience in a sales or business development role, preferably within the video production or event industry.
Strong industry connections (corporations or agencies) and the respect of industry peers
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and objectives.
Strong understanding of video production processes, event production, and technical requirements.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software (e.g., HubSpot).
Willingness to travel as needed.
