Commercial Lines Account Manager (Farm/Ranch Niche)

Description

 

As our Commercial Lines Account Manager, you will verify accuracy of policies and endorsements for commercial accounts. Responsibilities include systematically processing client information received to keep client files up-to-date and accurate and working together with Account Executive to provide support in the servicing of client accounts.

 

Performance Expectations/Responsibilities 

  • Request, endorsements to the various carriers based on information from the client or AE. Enter change requests into EPIC. Request changes from carriers for all incorrect endorsements. 
  • Send second request to carriers for change requests that have not been processed by the follow-up date. 
  • Issue certificates, auto ID cards, verify their accuracy; forward them to client with appropriate correspondence with direction from Account Executive.  
  • Order Loss runs for AE during the renewal marketing process. 
  • Receive and process all daily mail timely and accurately by updating EPIC, following official agency workflows.  
    • Daily Mail includes all company correspondence including policies and endorsements.
  • Demonstrate teamwork in working with Account Executives and other agency employees. 
  • Attend Commercial Lines meetings, trainings, and classes requested by management or required for maintaining the appropriate state licensing and designations. 
  • Communicate with the insured per requests from AE. 
  • Perform other functions as assigned by management. 

 

Compensation & Benefits

  • $18 – $20 per hour

Education/Training Requirements 

  • Insurance experience is preferred.  Ability to use a desktop or laptop computer, calculator, agency management system and all Microsoft products including, but not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Maintain insurance license as required by the appropriate State Department of Insurance, and Mountain West Insurance & Financial Services, LLC.  


Work Environment/Physical Activity 

  • General office work in a team environment 
  • Requires the regular use of arms, hands and fingers 
  • Requires sitting and standing for extended periods of time 
  • Must be able to see and hear 
  • May be required to lift and or move up to 10 pounds or more 
  • Requires occasional travel, some overnights for business and training as needed
