JOB SUMMARY:

Direct a sales force to execute sales functions in accordance with company priorities and objectives.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Responsible for sales and gross profit within assigned territory

• Manage supplier relationships

• Adjust customer service frequency, salesperson assignment, and sales methods as needed.

• Execute brand distribution goals and manage overall performance of your team.

• Oversee accounts receivable for assigned accounts

• Key account performance management

• Introduce and sample new products and packages to customers

• Solicit displays and gain product presence in key accounts

• Provide sales analysis insight to upper management, including evaluation of trends and obstacles.

• Work in the trade 3-4 days per week

• Consistently maintain personal behavior that meets the core value and standards of the Company

• Analyze sales reports and spreadsheets

• Meet with suppliers

• Meet with retailers

• Plan for sales and inventory needs, equipment needs, staffing needs, etc.

• Authorize and monitor placement of equipment (coolers & draft equipment)

• Track inventory of equipment

• Responsible for ordering and distributing all point of sale materials

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

The NEB Sales Supervisor is responsible for planning weekly sales meetings and preparing sales reports.

The NEB Sales Supervisor is sometimes required to perform duties beyond the normal work day.
 

 
Position Requirements

MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Previous sales and management experience required

 

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

The NEB Sales Supervisor is responsible for directly supervising full time employees.

 

Supervisory responsibilities include: making hiring recommendations, making final hiring decisions, planning and schedule work, assigning work, instructing and training in methods, checking and approving work, conducting performance evaluations, recommending salary adjustments, making recommendations regarding promotions, making recommendations regarding unsatisfactory performance, making final decisions to terminate employees due to unsatisfactory performance.

 

Responsible for providing direct feedback and personal development to sales team.

 

 

 

 

 

MENTAL AND VISUAL REQUIREMENTS:

 

Light mental and visual attention required for performing work where there is some variety but actions taken and decisions made are limited to few possibilities. Work requires some coordination with others. AND/OR set-up, regulate, and adjust simple machines or processes.

 

 

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS:

 

Ability to remain stationary for extended periods of time, move about to access various objects, operates office machinery such as a computer, communicate effectively. Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

 

 

MACHINES AND EQUIPMENT USED:

 

Ability to use an automobile, computer, printer, fax machine, photocopier, and telephone

 

Ability to use the following software: Data Driller, E-Mail, Microsoft Office, Indigo Olive.

 

 

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:

 

Valid Driver’s License or ability to access transportation to perform position responsibilities and attend work group and organization meetings as necessary. Other limited travel may be necessary.
