The Collision Center Technician Assistant is responsible for assisting in the refinishing of damaged body parts and bodies of vehicles in accordance with factory and dealership specifications. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Wash, check in and pre scan vehicles to be repaired Check in parts for repairs verifying they are damage free. Report any parts damage to the manager Assist technicians with disassembly, sanding, prepping and masking. Assist technicians with reassembly of vehicles Post scanning vehicles after repairs are completed Washing vehicles for delivery Complete post repair inspection prior to delivery Keeping shop clean and removing trash Follow manufacturer repair procedures and guidelines Follow safeguards, rules and regulations Perform other related duties as assigned   Position Requirements MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:   Valid driver license with clean driving record At least high school diploma or equivalent Submit to and successfully complete MVR, background check, and pre-employment drug test A high level of motivation and demonstrated ability to learn and succeed Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information   PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:   None   REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS AND/OR LICENSURES:   None         PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:   While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is occasionally required to walk; sit; climb or balance; kneel; crouch or crawl; talk or hear. Must be able to lift and/or move 50 lbs. This includes repetitive bending and lifting of items.
