The Security Installation Technician Lead needs to be familiar with the business activities and growth in their surrounding area and know which businesses should be contacted about potential work. In this position, the Security Installation Technician Lead represents Muth Electric and Muth Technology in the community at all times and needs to make a positive impression in the community. Job Description Minimum of 2-years experience in commercial and industrial access, intrusion, intercom, or video systems. Duties and responsibilities Exceptional technical skills to install, service, inspect or troubleshoot security alarm and CCTV systems Knowledge and hands-on work with computer hardware, software, and configuration of network systems Create and maintain drawings and accurate documentation on installation paperwork for all systems Ability to read prints/specs to quote projects and service work Ability to obtain new customers and strengthen current customer relationships Ability to manage multiple technicians and projects as needed Act as a Subject Matter Expert and provide training and guidance as needed Must work well with coworkers and subcontractors of other trades. Must have ability to solve problems as they arise. Aptitude to learn new technology as it changes. Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. and occasionally lift and move up to 100 lbs.
