GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
Provides administrative services under the general supervision of the Director of ICF/DD Programs. Is responsible for the overall operation of one or Intermediate Care Facilities for the Developmentally Disabled (ICF/DD).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Implements procedures and programs that ensure ICF/DD/DDS regulation compliance.
2. Provides job orientation and in-service training to all employees that is focused on the developmental, behavioral and health needs of the clients.
3. Follows Pathfinder ICF/DD/DDS(1910) procedures and their implementation with regard to resident death or injury; absence and search, criminal activity; abuse/neglect; natural disasters; serious accidents; and disruptions of services.
4. Develops, manages and coordinates the habilitative services programs.
5. Reviews and adapts active treatment programs for each client.
6. Oversees the delivery of care, training and habilitative services.
7. Establishes policies and procedures to control the spread of communicable disease.
8. Participates in the development of plans of correction and operational plans, as they relate to the operation of the program.
9. Assures facilities are maintained in safe, peaceful, clean condition.
10. Assures all forms and records are completed in a timely manner.
11. If Waiver, will oversee the medication management programs and coordinate as necessary with the contracted pharmacy.
12. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
