Description

SUMMARY
The AV Analyst is responsible for the setup, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of audio-visual equipment and systems. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring seamless audio and visual experiences during events, presentations, meetings, and conferences. The AV Analyst collaborates with event organizers, presenters, and technical teams to deliver high-quality AV solutions. The AV Analyst is instrumental in making sure the right content is available for venues. All functions will be performed within the guidelines of the MNGE policies & procedures, internal control standards and objectives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
1. Coordinate with business lines to choose which sports events to show, coordinating with content providers, and managing the bar's entertainment offerings.
2. Curate and procure content for various venues.
3. Prepare and set up audio-visual equipment, including projectors, microphones, sound systems, lighting, and video conferencing systems.
4. Configure AV systems to meet the specific requirements of each event or presentation.
5. Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on AV equipment to ensure functionality and reliability.
6. Provide technical support to presenters, speakers, and event organizers before and during events.
7. Troubleshoot and resolve AV equipment issues promptly to minimize disruptions.
8. Monitor and adjust audio levels to maintain a comfortable listening experience.
9. Handle cabling and connectivity tasks, including cable management and signal routing.
10. Maintain accurate records of AV equipment inventory, repairs, and maintenance schedules.
11. Create documentation and user guides for AV setups and configurations.
12. Collaborate with event organizers to understand AV requirements and provide recommendations for enhancing the AV experience.
13. Assist in the planning and setup of AV equipment for events of various sizes and complexities.
14. Train staff and users on the proper operation of AV equipment and systems.
15. Stay updated on emerging AV technologies and trends. 

 
Position Requirements

EDUCATION
High school diploma or equivalent
Technical or vocational training in AV technology is a plus.

EXPERIENCE
Experience with content providers.
Proven experience as an AV Technician or a similar role.
Familiarity with a variety of AV equipment and systems, including audio mixers, amplifiers, projectors, and video conferencing tools.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
