Share Email Opening Title Infant and Toddler Teacher  Position Infant and Toddler Teacher   Location Weinberg   Department Child Care   Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time   Job Type Regular   Level of Education High school diploma or GED required, some college preferred.90 hour Early Childhood Education certificate required.   Shift Days   Description Position Summary: The Infant/Toddler teacher is responsible for the day-to-day care of toddlers in the classroom. The teacher plans creative, educational, fun activities for them as well as addresses their basic needs.. Primary Responsibilities: Engages parents, and provides nurturing and comfort to children. Creates and implements weekly lesson plans for toddlers. Ensures cleanliness, proper arrangement, organization and stimulation in indoor/outdoor play areas. Writes daily reports to parents detailing sleeping, eating and diapering activities for the day. Ensures that parents sign their children in and out of childcare using the form provided. Tracks inventory of toddler age appropriate toys and educational materials and informs the Director when supplies are low. Assists in the sorting, storage and distribution of children’s program donations. Participates in relationship-based practice and reflective supervision. Attends and participates in weekly staff meetings and trainings appropriate to this position.
