The Media Analytics Department in San Jose, California is seeking the next generation of thought leaders in computer vision and machine learning for research internships in Summer 2024. Our interns work closely with the research team to explore creative directions with a potential for high impact in industry and the broader community.
Intern projects at NEC Labs result in student-led papers published at top-tier venues such as CVPR, ICCV, ECCV or NeurIPS. Outstanding applicants pursuing a PhD in all areas of computer vision are encouraged to apply, including but not limited to the following:
• Vision-language models
• Autonomous driving
• Open-world visual perception
• Prediction and planning
• Sensor and behavior simulation
• 3D scene understanding
• Implicit neural representations
• Multi-task learning
• Privacy and fairness
