Job Summary This Graphic Design position is an entry level role, working in a team approach with members of the digital content team on a variety of projects and assignments. The ideal candidate is a proactive individual, with well-developed critical thinking skills who can process, react to, and solve problems in a timely manner as they arise. WHY YOU? When not creating a beautiful design, you are excited to actively work with the design team to help with branding and conceptual thinking for other platforms and mediums. Responsibilities Primary: Clearly communicate and present ideas through visuals to both internal and external stakeholders. Understand the Pirates brand, voice, and audience to produce visuals that inspire our brand story while also building authentic relationships. Collaborate with other departments within the organization. Collaborate with other creative team members and attend project and team meetings. Accept real and constructive feedback when necessary. Work with other creative team members to produce cohesive content and designs for all platforms and mediums. Always represent the Pittsburgh Pirates in a positive and professional manner. All other duties assigned by Director, Creative & Productions.   Position Requirements Required: Four-year related degree and a minimum of 1-3 years design experience in an in-house creative department or design firm. Knowledge of the graphic production process. Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, working knowledge of motion graphics. Possess strong conceptual skills, high level sense of design, layout and typography, a broad thinker who can offer a variety of design solutions. Adaptable and quick learner. Must be able to apply style guides creatively while upholding brand identity for the Pirates Baseball Team. Ability to work Gamedays throughout the season.
