Foster passion for a better tomorrow.​   Description The Plant Operator 1, under direct supervision, is responsible for successfully completing level 1 operator tasks within all production departments (including Blending & Bag, Batch Coating and Screening.) Safe operation of forklifts with up to 2,000-pound loads. Load raw materials for various departments Unload Dry Bulk trucks and handle paperwork. Clean equipment as needed. Loading and unloading doyles Hand Stack pallets with 50 pound bags when needed. Wrap Pallets and apply proper labels. Load and package finished goods in various departments Enter confined spaces once fully trained on proper process. Adhere to all plant safety requirements. Perform plant housekeeping duties. Additional duties as assigned.   Position Requirements Forklift Certification Excellent verbal communication skills Ability to work independently as well as to collaborate in a team environment. Strong attention to detail Ability to be at work on time and as scheduled. Ability and willingness to be trained on additional tasks High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
