Share Email Opening Apply Now Title Quality Assurance Representative  Location District of Columbia   Description Cube Root is seeking a Quality Assurance Representative to work on a nationwide construction management contract for a Federal Government Agency. The Quality Assurance Representative ensures that the project construction complies with plans and specifications and that contractor follows the contract documents. This person is experienced in each discipline of construction inspection work and/or has the capability to monitor several types of work activities, including civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, etc. The Quality Assurance Representative will support multiple projects thru the life of the contract, including new construction or repair as design-bid-build and design-build for maintenance facilities; office/administrative facilities, detention housing/dormitory facilities; and training facilities, warehouse renovation, armory relocation/consolidation, restroom expansions, and a microgrid project. The construction projects may be multidisciplined and may include aspects of specialty security, communication, electrical power system upgrade and fire detection/protection and other similar disciplines. Construction is often performed under rigid completion schedules and will require strict adherence to safety standards. The Quality Assurance Representative will be deployed to multiple locations thru the life of this contract, including San Juan, PR; St. Croix / St. Thomas (USVI); Fort Moore, GA; Miami, FL; El Paso, TX; and El Centro CA. Per diem costs will be paid to the employee by Cube Root.   Position Requirements 3+ years of construction related experience. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Construction Management, or related field. If the candidate has 7+ years of experience, then the Bachelor’s Degree requirement may be waived. Must be able to pass a Department of Homeland Security Fitness Determination Background Screening.
