Description

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain Investor relationships;
  • Open investor accounts (account codes and account numbers);
  • Process investments - Demand Notes

Term Investment Notes

IRA Accounts

  • Mail Demand/Term Notes and cash receipts to investors;
  • Responsible for End-of-Day balancing procedures (FiServ System);
  • Mail investment statements as scheduled;
  • Assist in monitoring term note maturities for investor notification;
  • Maintain investor signature cards/applications;
  • Maintain Cornerstone Funds copies of Demand Notes & Term Notes for both active & closed accounts;
  • Answer investor inquiries about their Demand and Term Note Accounts;
  • Interpret statements for investors;
  • Open and log daily mail (dual control - must be done with one other person)
  • Maintain daily log of investment activity;

SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in preparing for Cornerstone Fund Board of Directors and Committee meetings;
  • Assist in preparation of monthly, semi-annual and annual investment reports.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 
Position Requirements To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Experience in bank teller operations or new account processing preferred (knowledge of FiServ Computer Applications desirable);
  • Outstanding customer service skills;
  • Must be detailed oriented and have knowledge of general office procedures;
  • Excellent keyboarding/typing skills;
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet critical deadlines;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel;
  • Self-starter with the ability to prioritize work;
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team as well as independently;
  • Basic understanding and knowledge of the UCC; and
  • High school graduate or equivalent with some college preferred.
