Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Senior Manager IT Manager, perform skilled work in maintaining and troubleshooting technical issues with desktop, notebook computers, network equipment, and computer peripherals; perform software installation tasks and troubleshooting when required (Office 365 and various other SaaS applications. CAD applications, VPN, and other software suites) Maintain a program of preventive systems maintenance and work within an I.T Services platform (help desk); provide basic computer/software operation instruction to staff; perform other related duties as required.

Essential Responsibilities:
•Perform major and minor repairs to computers, networking equipment and peripherals including but not limited to hard drives, printers, monitors, switches, etc.
•Perform operational software installations and maintenance.
•Perform preventive maintenance schedule for computers, Servers (on Prem and cloud-based), networking equipment and peripherals.
•Provide basic computer and software operation instructions to staff.
• Planned, organized, and laid out assigned tasks; estimated labor, time, and material costs.
•Operate electronic testing and measuring devices, in diagnosing malfunctions of computer equipment, networks and peripherals; use precision and power-hand tools.
•Perform exacting and precise work in the installation, repair, maintenance, overhaul and adjustment of computer equipment and peripherals in a network environment.
•Maintain records and prepare reports on work completed; assist in maintaining equipment and property records and in determining when equipment should be replaced.
•Required to work on computers, servers, and storage devices connected to the network including those of management and confidential staff that may contain confidential bargaining information.

• Complies with attendance and leave policies and plans accordingly for absences.

Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technology field is preferred.
• 3+ years’ experience in a customer focused position involving technical knowledge of a
company’s product and services.
• Extensive experience working with different operating systems and SaaS applications (O365).
• Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate, Microsoft 365 Certified or
Administering Windows Server Hybrid Core or equivalent certification is preferred.
