Bolton & Menk is looking to add a Senior Project Manager - Hydraulic Modeling to our team! This position can be located out of our Ames, Des Moines, or Cedar Rapids office. We are looking to add a Senior Project Manager - Hydraulic Modeling who will help foster our mission that All People Should Live in a Safe, Sustainable and Beautiful Community while being engaged on project assignments serving our municipal, federal, industrial, and other clients!
What You Will Be Doing:
- Lead the development, direction and completion of solutions within complex projects
- Utilize your expertise and project management skills to in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling projects, as part of a project team, or for standalone solutions for agencies, municipalities, and private clients
- Lead at team of junior staff and promote the growth of technical skills
- Lead the development, calibration, and interpretation of water distribution, wastewater, and stormwater models
- Provide oversight in preparing, presenting, and communicating data developed from models for stakeholders and decision making
- Collaborate with team members and project managers to ensure the execution of complex assignments to meet client goals, schedule, and budgets
- Cultivate and maintain client relationships in dynamic markets to position for growth of our business
What We Are Looking For:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in civil or environmental engineering
- Licensed Professional Engineer
- 12+ years’ experience in water and sewer system design, analysis, and planning
- Experience managing and mentoring staff
- Experience with project management, proposal development, and business development
- Strong working technical knowledge of engineering principles and practices is required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment is essential
- Requires a Driver's License or Public Transportation as may travel to various facilities and job sites
