Position Title: Lifestyle Director                                                                                           

Location: Firestone, CO 
Reporting To: General Manager
Status: Exempt, Full-Time 
Salary: $60,000 - $65,000

EMPLOYEE OWNER POSITION PURPOSE: 

The Lifestyle Director is responsible for the community social events and activities including maximizing  the potential of all of the community amenities.  Coordinate with homeowners to develop a specially  curated social program to suit all members of the community. This is a leadership position that requires a commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience. 

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the Clubhouse 
  • Providing basic and accurate information in-person and via phone or email 
  • Maintaining clubhouse security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk 
  • Ordering clubhouse supplies and keeping inventory of stock 
  • Maintain and stock coffee and snack station 
  • Ensure cleanliness of the clubhouse at all time 
  • Assist with concession stand sales and staffing during summer season 
  • Manage operations, maintenance and oversight of Clubhouse & Clubhouse areas 
  • Schedule, plan and organize activities and events. 
  • Promote all events and happenings 
  • Ensure a safe, clean and customer friendly clubhouse environment 
  • Ensure all equipment is in working order and safe for use 
  • Coordinate and hire independent instructors, performers, speakers, etc. as needed 
  • Enlist and oversee volunteer committees 
  • Coordinate and hire independent instructors as needed 
  • Document and maintain records of events for future use 
  • Obtain necessary credentials/certifications and insurance for any contractors 
  • Support the club chairpersons in scheduling events and coordination as needed including, setup,publicizing and attending events as requested. 
  • Attend social events hosted by the District 
  • Create and distribute a monthly wellness newsletter 
  • Comply with and enforce governing documents 
  • Maintain community calendar 
  • Manage room rentals 
  • Provide tours and orientation of the clubhouse 
  • Respond to enquiries and correspondence from homeowners regarding any social or athletic activities 
  • Coordinate with third party Pool Maintenance and staffing company to ensure proper staffing and review performance of pool oversight 
  • Ensure all patrons have current waivers on file (including day pass guests) 
  • Coordinate and liaise with seasonal part time staff 
  • Provide General Manager with weekly reports and updates 
  • Create and adhere to Social Budget based on General Manager’s guidelines 
  • Oversee concession stand inventory, sales, staffing and operations 
  • General Manager support responsibilities (the General Manager will be providing complete 
  • oversight and direct the day to day operations together with their team to ensure client expectations are exceeded) 
    • Maintain social website details 
    • In coordination with the GM, setup and maintain community information (Call-To-Action text, CC&R text, etc.) via the Company’s proprietary software program 
    • Liaise with Off-Site CSS for work orders, ands ARC requests 
    • In GM absences, oversee basic emergency vendor needs (i.e. contacting a plumber for any emergency need) 
    • Coordinate and manage facility reservations 
    • Assist GM with meeting follow-up action items 
    • Assist GM with special projects including research and custom administrative work; this may include participating in occasional site inspections 
    • Maintain Welcome Packet materials for new homeowners and our tracking system; coordinate this process with Accounting team members 
    • With the GM create and distribute notices, newsletters, flyers, and other documents for internal and external needs 
    • Box/archive end-of-year documentation 
  • Provide exceptional customer serve within a large-scale community onsite that includes single family homes and a wide range of community and recreational facilities 
  • Provide management services in compliance with the terms of the management contract and the governing documents 
  • Assist homeowners with problem resolution 
  • Respect and nurture all aspects of the client’s relationship  
  • Work as part of a team with accountability to management for the end result achieved Demonstrate a positive attitude and ownership mentality; we believe each employee can build his/her own future 
  • During Summer Season – Regularly inspect the pool area and locker rooms for safety and cleanliness as per the provided checklist 
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent 
  • Customer service skills and a friendly and professional demeanor 
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays and nights 
  • Knowledge of the Clubhouse’s products and services 
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word 
  • Ability to meet deadlines and address time-sensitive issues 
  • Superior multi-tasking skills 
  • Excellent verbal communication 
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service with astute attention to detail and organization 
  • Must be a team player 
  • Willing to learn Company process and procedures, and learn/use proprietary software 
  • Adaptable and dependable with a solid attendance record 
  • Professional and respectful demeanor with all residents, the Board, staff and guests at all times

SPECIAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and driving record in compliance with Company policy 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 

  • Use standard office equipment, including: computer, phone, copier/scanner, etc. 
  • Be stationary for periods of time 
  • Relocate up to (25) pounds 
  • Travel to and from offsite locations

SCHEDULE & TRAVEL: 

  • Full time - 40 hours per week   
  • This position may require occasional overtime to meet business needs, including weekends and holidays
