About the Role
We are eager to discuss the prospect of you joining our team as our next incredible team member!
This position reports to the SVP, People at our IncredibleBank branch location on 17th Avenue in Wausau, WI and allows you to partner with other team members and key stakeholders to provide Incredible Customer Experiences of your own! Duties and responsibilities may include:
- Participates and guides in employee relations related issues, which may include employee disciplinary action or resolution. Ensures programs are administered fairly across the employee population. May participates in investigation situations and consults with legal as needed.
- Receives resignations/retirements and engages with employees and managers throughout the offboarding process. Serves as a resource and as a primary contact for employees upon separation of employment.
- Conducts and moderates employee exit interviews; then analyzes exit survey and turnover data, seeking to identify trends or relationships, and reports findings.
- Promotes and influences HR practices and objectives to provide an employee-oriented, high-performance culture emphasizing in quality, productivity standards, and goal attainment.
- Coaches leaders to lead their teams in alignment to company policy and culture, navigate and resolve employee relations issues and/or manage programs that help develop our people.
- Demonstrates exceptional talents to bring clarity and transparency in helping others understand how people decisions get made.
- Collaborates with team members to assess and implement changes to policy and/or procedure that coincide with the organization’s strategic objectives and department goals.
- Supports, establishes and maintains an intimate understanding of the organization in the interest of building effective and productive working relationships with all levels of the organization.
- Identifies opportunities for cross-training within the People Team and serves as backup to team members when needed. Daily duties and responsibilities will vary and may overlap with payroll, benefit, and/or talent acquisition specialties as appropriate.
- Provides high-level operational support to the SVP, People and members of the executive leadership team as appropriate.
- Represents the People Team on organizational committees as needed.
This is a regular full-time salaried exempt position, averaging approximately 40 hours/week. Schedule may vary between the hours of 7:30 am to 5:30 pm CST Monday through Friday.
This position will work on-site at our IncredibleBank branch location on 17th Avenue in Wausau, WI.
Travel will be required based on business needs.

- Bachelor's Degree with 2-3 years of experience in employee relations and compliance, within a Human Resources function.
- PHR Certification is preferred but not required.
- Must be able to coach and assist in establishing an organization that works effectively and efficiently, in a servant leadership fashion.
- Management and leadership skills. Customer/client orientation.
- Must be able to function in a team environment, cope with stress, and maintain a pleasant and cooperative temperament with internal and external partners.
- Creativity, organizational skills. Ability to meet deadlines, multi task and prioritize.
- Interpersonal, planning and persuasive communication skills. Ability to influence others.
- Decision making skills. Ability to build collaborative relationships. Ability to make quick logical decisions in a high pressure environment. Ability to drive strategic direction.
- Conceptual thinking, project management, planning, and presenting skills.
- Must have strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to understand and continually improve business processes and systems is required.
