Cogent is currently seeking an enthusiastic and dependable Sales and Marketing Coordinator to join our team in Fenton, Missouri. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree along with previous marketing experience. The Sales and Marketing Coordinator shall perform sales and marketing duties for the Cogent Sales team under the strategic direction of the Sales Operations Manager. This position will work out of our Fenton Missouri office (not a remote position).

Day to Day responsibilities:

  • Perform support functions in alignment with Cogent’s sales and marketing strategy
  • Perform support functions as part of Cogent’s vendor management strategy.
  • Design and Develop Presentation Material and Templates.
  • Organize and Maintain Cogent’s print and digital marketing asset collection.
  • Assist with the development, and management of a centralized repository of technical sales documents and tools, and marketing resources for the sales team.
  • Perform Sales Administrative Functions.
  • Manage incoming web-based and email-based sales team leads.
  • Execute Salesforce CRM Database Quality Control Plan.
  • Drive Complete Information into the Salesforce CRM Opportunity Fields.
  • Perform support functions on Cogent’s Website and Social Media.
  • Design and Develop Marketing Collateral.
  • Develop, Order and Manage Customer Giveaways in alignment with Sales and Marketing Strategy.
  • Coordination of the Development of Marketing Material with Partner Vendors.
  • Execute routine sales team goal reporting.
  • Assist in the Development or Execution of integrated campaigns that advance core sales objectives.
  • Assist with the Creation of innovative market strategies; get out front of the competition and industry trends; rethink the status quo, be innovative, and employ a data-driven analytical business approach.
  • Execute lead generation duties utilizing key vendors, industry and territory, and internal resources.
  • Plan, Coordinate, and Execute Customer Surveys.
  • Coordinate the Execution of Cogent Tradeshows with the local sales teams.
  • Plan, Coordinate, Attend and Execute Customer Events, including regional rotating equipment schools.
  • Coordinate the Execution of Vendor Sponsored Events.
  • Assist with the selection of market-leading, data-driven tactics that allow us to market effectively to our customers.
  • Assist with the Development or Execution of territory marketing initiatives.
  • Emphasize Accountability, Responsibilities, and Results.
  • Promote a culture of collaboration and coordination.
  • Build strong collaboration with operations, service, corporate marketing teams, and external strategic alliance brand partners to deliver best-in-class brand positioning, messaging, and experience.
  • Work closely with the corporate marketing team to ensure best-in-class results and practices.
