Description

Peabody Properties, seeks a dynamic experienced Leasing Consultant working 24 hours a week, to effectively lease and market the community contributing to the efficient operation of the apartment community in Beverly, MA.

The ideal applicant will work to achieve not only maximum occupancy stabilization for the property, but also high customer satisfaction for new and current residents alike.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Building a network of residents through community outreach, attending networking events, conducting applicant and family tours of the community and managing the database of referral sources and social media channels
  • Staying current with the competitions offerings, and drive qualified prospects to the community gathering, analyzing and interpreting the competitive market analysis and visiting the many competitors communities.
  • Organizing and facilitating resident events to promote a sense of community 
  • Answers all calls promptly and courteously. Refers to appropriate staff.
  • Opens incoming mail and distributes to appropriate staff.
  • Accepts orders for maintenance problems/repairs. Completes work order form and gives to Service Manager for timely completion.
  • General office filing.
  • If needed, provides assistance and/or coverage at other sister sites within the company portfolio.
  • Performs other duties as may be assigned by your Supervisor or Senior Staff to facilitate effective site operations.

 

Education and Experience:

  • Requires High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 3 years providing clerical and administrative support and proven leasing and/or marketing experience in conventional and affordable housing. 
  • Knowledgeable with respect to affordable housing programs, including federally-assisted, and all State and local housing regulations;
  • Sales and personal interaction skills, strong organizational, problem-solving and follow-through abilities.
  • Time management skills and ability to prioritize a must;
  • Solid administrative and organizational skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing;
  • Ability to take initiative and be self-motivated.
  • Excellent computer and customer service skills.
  • Also, knowledge of Onesite, including proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
