WHAT YOU’LL DO
As our Receptionist, you are naturally an enthusiast and enjoy being surrounded by our amazing customers and employees! As the first impression of Mans Lumber & Home via telephone, you are friendly and a fantastic communicator. The receptionist will be responsible for answering incoming calls, directing calls to appropriate associates, as well as additional clerical duties.
THE NITTY GRITTY

Answer telephone professionally and direct the caller to the appropriate area

Greet and direct visitors in a friendly manner

Scanning credit notes and vendor shipping paperwork

Monitor fax folder and distribute the faxes

Credit memo reconciliation
-
Place coffee supply order, we love coffee at Mans!

Put labels on literature for the Sales Counter

Collect and distribute incoming mail
-
Send out UPS packages
-
Boxing up totals at the end/beginning of the month

Switch/rotate shipper and credit paperwork
-
Print plans and I-joist layouts
-
Scan plans and email to appropriate person
-
Manage the soft console
-
Other duties as assigned
WHAT YOU NEED

Must love dogs; we love dogs at Mans.

A strong steward of Mans culture and core values

High School GED or equivalent
-
Able to contribute positively as part of a team, helping with other tasks as required.

Exceptional customer service skills and professional phone manner.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This job operates in a professional office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines (well, not really fax machines).
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This is largely a sedentary role; however, some daily active movement is required. This role also requires the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand, as necessary.
POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This is a part-time position with a flexible schedule.
