Assistant coaches will also ensure participant growth and satisfaction within the program. Hours are : Monday - Thursday 4:00-6:00pm with the  possibility of private lesson income.   Duties/Responsibilities: Under the supervision of the Head Coach, Head Age Group Coach, or Site Coach, oversee and implement the training practice plan for Senior, Junior, or Developmental practice groups. Attend swim meets as requested by Head Coach. Coach on deck for all assigned practices. Ensure accurate daily attendance records are maintained via Team Unify “on deck app” Maintain open communication with parents to discuss swimmer progress and answer questions.     Position Requirements Required Skills/Abilities: Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Dynamic, high-energy personnel skills and ability to relate well with children and their parents   Education and Experience: Maintain membership in USA Swimming Experience in competitive swimming and swim lesson instruction. Lifeguard certification and CPR or Safety Training for Swim Coaches, preferred. (required within 3 months of hiring). Physical and Schedule Requirements: Participate in UVAC special events and open houses.
