For more information please visit www.astrazeneca.com .   Description Location: Frederick, MD We are currently seeking sophomore, and junior students working towards a degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field for a 10 week internship during the summer of 2024.   Position Description: Project #1: Support expansion of Raw Material data analytics program in MS&T Deliver new ways for predicting and modeling process performance for biologics manufacturing as well as provide data summarization and visualization for conveying trends to key stakeholders. Partner with Manufacturing Sciences and Technology to develop and enhance the process monitoring and understanding of commercial products through modeling and visualization of process performance, microbial monitoring and raw material data. Generate meaningful insights applying statistical techniques, to create chemometric, predictive, machine learning and forecasting statistical models.  Project #2: Support the Process Validation BPO to develop a strategy to organize commercial product process validation documentation within EQV- GVLMS. Assist in Process Validation improvement projects to streamline the business process in readiness for 2024/2025 PPQ campaigns.    Learning Objectives: Gain: General understanding of the biologics manufacturing process General understanding of process validation General understanding of the document management system   Position Requirements Position Requirements: Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field Python is a plus Technical writing is a plus PowerBI is a plus MS Office Suite and presentation experience Ability to report onsite to AZ's Frederick, MD site 5 days per week.
