Description

Peabody Properties seeks an experienced File Clerk to provide administrative support for an apartment community in Dorchester, MA, through file management and maintenance of documents and paperwork.

This position is also available to provide support and assistance as needed to the Receptionist.

 

Position Responsibilities:

  • Add new material to file records and create new records as necessary
  • File invoices, receipts and other records according to the filing system used.
  • Handles request to access files and retrieves files as necessary
  • Process all incoming mail record and sort
  • Purges old files in accordance with retention schedule
  • Acts as backup Receptionist when necessary
  • General office duties
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.

 

Education and Experience

  • Requires High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 2 years business experience providing clerical and administrative support.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and office equipment.
