Location: Frederick, MD

We are currently seeking freshmen, sophomore, and junior students working towards a degree in biological science, computer science, bioengineering, biotechnology or a related field for a 10 week internship during the summer of 2024.

 

Objectives/Goals of the Position:

  • Working with SOLE (simulated operations learning experience) to formalize training materials for new manufacturing employees

  • Work with NPIs (new product introductions) and Reintroductions for campaign support

Primary Duties:

  • Project #1

    • Working with the Manufacturing Technical Operations team to build training material and better formalize training programs to support the various roles within the Technical Operations department.

    • Utilize training tools such as Tulip, OJT’s, PowerPoint Presentations, etc. to create training material for Tech Ops roles such as PAS|X designers, Process Owners, and Product Leads.

    • Working with Training Specialist to formalize onboarding and new hire SOLE program

  • Project #2

    • Working with the Manufacturing Technical Operations team for compilation and clean up of document information required across the Frederick Manufacturing Center.

    • Help to populate all of the information required for all products at site into the new Campaign Readiness tracker for ease of setup activities during campaign reintroduction.

    • Support new product introduction links and tools

 

 
Position Requirements

Position Requirements:

  • Freshmen, sophomore, and junior students working towards a degree in biological science, computer science, biotechnology, bioengineering, or a related field
  • PowerBI or other data analytics platform experience is a plus
  • Ability to report onsite to AZ's Frederick, MD site 5 days per week. Relocation assistance is not allocated.
  • This role is not CPT/OPT eligible.
  • Minimum grade point average of 3.0
