Xperi is seeking a creative and determined intern to participate in executing premium technology and business solutions for the cinema and home entertainment industry, including exhibitors, distributors and consumers. As a member of the DTS Content team, you will be responsible for collaborating with teammates across functions in support of DTS programs for cinema and home utilizing DTS:X technologies.

The best internships have focus projects that you can own and that have a clear deliverable at the end. The focus project for this internship will be the development and execution of educational and marketing presentations for DTS:X, DTS:X for IAB, DTS Surround and Imax Enhanced brands to be shared with DTS content, distribution and technology partners. Experience in marketing presentations, graphic design and social media is desirable.
Reporting relationships/key contacts:
· You will report directly to Vice President, Content & Strategy who will provide direction regarding DTSX and Imax Enhanced content and is responsible for enabling your integration into the Xperi content team, support for interaction with exhibitors and direction regarding matrix operations within Xperi.
· You will additionally work with the Director Content operations, and the content marketing manager who will act as mentors and provide direction regarding the integration of your focus projects into the Xperi marketing and operations plans.
Your responsibilities will include and not be limited to:
Hybrid work in person & from home for approximately 25-hour week
Work with VP Content to conceive, develop, and deliver on the assigned tasks/priorities of the focus projects.
Work with content, audio and marketing teams to execute integrated focus project campaigns.
Learn about and be exposed in a professional environment to the business process of immersive sound as practiced in studios for their motion picture audio tracks and in movie theatres as part of their theatrical sound systems.
You are a 3rd or 4th year student in an accredited university or college
Strong interest in: media, movies, marketing
Attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure
Ability to communicate with people at all levels in a professional and mature manner
Ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and undertake various administrative duties
Strong MS Office skills
Experience in Airtable is a plus
