EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; plus 7 years related experience to include management and supervisory responsibilities; or equivalent combination of education and experience. LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively one-on-one or before small groups of employees. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent. OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES Proficient with Microsoft Office environment; knowledge and/or experience with inventory tracking systems; strong inventory control/management skills, independent decision maker, strong knowledge of heavy truck parts, mechanically inclined; excellent organizational and follow-up skills, good communication skills and ability to interact well with others in a professional, friendly, courteous manner. REASONING ABILITY Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to make independent decisions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form.
