Description

SUMMARY: The PST will Manage, inspect, issue, transport, receive, store, repair, dispose common hand tools, build tool kits, and manage Test Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following

Operate the tool issue center IAW AFI 21-102, AFI 21-102_AFMCSUP, 21-102_AFSCMAN chapter 10, and applicable Government provided regulations.

Manage tool issue centers and maintain current tool procedures to prevent or eliminate Foreign Object Damage (FOD) to aircraft

and support equipment and to reduce cost through strict effective control and accountability of tool and equipment assets. Tools shall be identified, inventoried, and controlled.

Ensure that TMDE are current on Preventative Maintenance (PM) schedules. Due dates will also be checked

before issuing and upon receipt from the tool crib. Overdue TMDE shall be turned in to and picked up from AMARG Government representative for

calibration IAW, 21-102_AFSCMAN, and applicable Government provided regulations TMDE items shall be handled IAW 21-102_AFSCM.

Provide the necessary labor, supervision, and transportation to

ensure satellite locations are properly manned, stocked, and managed. Perform pickup and delivery of toolboxes on initial issue and turn in.

Build toolboxes within the timelines specified in below PWS

para. 3.2.1.5.1 through 3.2.15.10.

The contractor shall build toolboxes and templates IAW 21-102, AFSCMAN 21-102, and applicable guidance. (References listed in Appendix D).

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Able to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time. Able to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist and reach. Able to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Typical office environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
