For more information please visit www.astrazeneca.com .   Description Location: We are currently seeking junior, masters-level, or PhD students working towards a degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, or a related field for a 10-12 week internship during the summer of 2024.   Learning Objectives/Goals of the Position: Get exposed and experience pharmaceutical manufacturing. Gain exposure and link theoretical engineering knowledge to real world application. Gain experience by applying existing engineering knowledge in similar or new situations.   Primary Duties: Support engineering project execution Support engineering problem solving through process studies, data collection and analysis Support cleaning validation activities Support the set up of Formulation Engineering SharePoint site Other projects as may be assigned   Position Requirements Position Requirements: Junior, masters-level, or PhD students working towards a degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, or a related field It is expected that the selected candidate returns to schooling at the close of Summer 2024 MS Office proficiency required Microsoft Project or Smartsheets knowledge a plus Strong organizational Shift time will vary from 4-5 days a week depending on project labor needs Minimum grade point average of 3.0   Full-Time/Part-Time Seasonal   Location Newark, DE   This position is currently not accepting applications.
