Share Email Opening Title Senior Software Engineer - (Software Engineer IV)   Category Engineering   Description As a Software Engineer Level IV at OKSI, you will be a key individual contributor to programs and efforts in intelligence, computer vision, machine learning, deep learning, sensor fusion, EO/IR imagery analysis, and real-time autonomous systems (e.g., UAS platforms, precision strike weapons, UGVs, etc.). KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead GUI development and user interface efforts for a range of systems and software's Take point on the development of state-of-the-art vision-based sensing algorithms and software solutions deployed by key government agencies and commercial companies Research and implement computer vision and machine learning models Design, develop, and implement applications for autonomous and imaging systems. Build prototype proof-of-concept software as well as production level software Analyze user needs and develop solutions Work with program manager to meet specification needs Collaborate with other developers to design and optimize code Create flowcharts, diagrams, and user guides for new and existing programs • Document all programming tasks and procedures   Position Requirements A minimum of 10 years of experience in software engineering Creative thinking and problem solving skills as well as strategy development abilities Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to present technical solutions to teams from other departments while describing the integration strategies and cross-disciplinary effects of new software solutions Expert knowledge of computer languages, data structures, computer logic and flow-charting, design methods, program documentation and client database versions Strong leadership and coaching skills as well as the ability to manage complex projects with multiple staff members collaborating to produce a final product The ability to analyze large quantities of data and provide reports regarding efficiency with recommendations for enhancing employee productivit Fluent with functional, imperative and object-­oriented languages Experience working in an agile environment Ability to take a project from scoping requirements through actual launch of the project Ease and proficiency in communicating with others to collect requirements, identify tasks, provide estimates and meet production deadlines   Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time   Shift Days   Position Software Engineer IV   Exempt/Non-Exempt Exempt   Location HQ   About the Organization For over 30 years, OKSI has been a leader in protecting America's interests, leveraging sensor technologies, and machine-learning to support the enduring national security mission.
