Temporary Position: December 1, 2023 to June 20, 2024

 

Job Summary:

Reporting to the Manager, Early Career Talent Development, with oversight from the Senior Director, Early Career Talent Development, this 7-month temporary position will support recruitment, on-boarding and administrative activity for the Academy Gold Rising internship enhancement.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the Gold Rising team as it relates to any recruitment or on-boarding activity, including weekly status updates on progress
  • Support recruitment via collecting and posting job descriptions in our ATS and college career site
  • Review and screen applications and assist team in selections for Gold Rising program
  • Maintain recruiting applicant tracking systems (ATS) to review relevant intern applications for the Gold Rising program
  • Serve as a point of contact for Gold Rising inbox and respond to emails with prospective candidates and accepted interns accordingly
  • Manage and execute the logistics for on-boarding materials for interns for the 2024 Summer Season
  • Send paperwork and correspondence to interns selected as well as notifications to those not selected for the program
  • Manage stipend forms and distributions
  • Collect photos for intern badges and face sheet
  • Perform other duties as assigned to achieve the goals of the department
  • Available to work some nights and weekends as needed for events
  • Able to work remotely or on-site as needed
 
Position Requirements

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree from an accredited college or university, or related work experience
  • Have 12 months of recruitment experience – university/college level or early career
  • Experience managing an ATS system preferred
  • Strong communication skills required. Communicate effectively, both in writing and orally, with all levels and across all groups of the organization
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Airtable and Dropbox knowledge/skills a plus
  • Ability to multi-task and successfully handle competing deadlines and priorities
  • Able to work independently as well as in cross-functional teams to get things done
  • Must be flexible with the ability to handle ever-changing schedules and situations

 

If hired, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences requires all employees to be vaccinated against COVID-19, unless a medical or religious accommodation is needed as determined on a case-by-case basis.

 

The expected salary for this role is $23.00. The actual base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and other factors permitted by law. Decisions will be made on a case-by-case basis.
