Major responsibilities include (not all inclusive): Provide Recruiting and Retention Command and Staff with current/historical custom recruiting reports and data trends as requested. Provide Company Command teams current/historical custom recruiting reports data and data trends as requested. Sort, download, and consolidate all accession spreadsheets into one report. Consolidate IST/ISR additions and Data Warehouse accessions. Provide “Block Mission” accession data. Provide accession data for Battalion, Company, Section, and RRNCO levels. Daily status board update: Utilizes daily accession data, convert to briefing slides, and post hard copies to the command status board. MOS bonus list reports: Sort G-1’s raw bonus vacancies spreadsheet report into two specific reports, the commanders report (includes 100%+ fill, FWD/REAR report dets); GAARNG bonus section’s report (deletes 100%+, FWD/REAR dets). Battalion Briefings Coordination. Plans and schedules ongoing meetings as required for Commanders and Staff. Recommend adjustments and transmits WARNORD for Battalion level briefings to accommodate resources and decision made at the higher level. Conduct a wide range of activities related to staff work such as tracking progress of FRAGORD deadlines. Generates accession slides. Perform scribe functions during the Battalion level briefings. Weekly significant event reports: Identify and provides the Battalion Commander, Executive Officer and Command Sergeant Major significant reports on Monday mornings that lists events pertaining to R&R and GAARNG for the next 7 days in detail, and then extensive information for the next two quarters. Prepare reports that also include scheduled VTCs, meetings, MEPS schedule, Company drills, and mobilization readiness IPRs for Senior Leadership within the Battalion. VTC coordination: Coordinate and verifies rooms (IP address/bridge) with NGB video operations. Ensure VTC location is reserved and equipment is operational. Conduct communications check prior to VTC. NGB DPRO reports: Provide technical knowledge to Battalion S3 and downloads, organize, consolidate, and archive Director’s Personnel Readiness Overview data which results in the independent compilation of data relevant to R&R program areas. Generate R&R spreadsheets for annual ACoE submissions, to include training pipeline losses, accessions, end strength, and reenlistment to the Battalion S3 for distribution to higher. Track, monitor, and update R&R’s E-mail distribution lists. Update R&R maps. Qualifications: Individual must have a valid Secret security clearance (or higher) or be able to obtain one. Extensive knowledge of the GAARNG Recruiting and Retention Mission is required. Experience as an Army National Guard Recruiter is required. Good presentation, written, and oral skills are required. Applicant must have experience using Microsoft Excel and other data compiling platforms. Applicants must be able to present data in many different forms, such as tables and graphs. Normal work week, normal office work hours. Occasional travel for training and/or conferences. This position is contingent upon award of a contract.
