Major responsibilities include (not all inclusive): Independently without supervision coordinates and maintains inter-service transfers for the GAARNG. Coordinates and maintains inter-service transfers. Prepares, quality checks, and makes needed corrections to all ISR packets. Prepares and submits required documentation in Soldier’s iPERMS in order to initiate accession. Provides guidance and interpretation as required to members of the field recruiting force on enlistment criteria established by the National Guard Bureau. Provides guidance and support for the professional development of members of the Recruiting and Retention Force (RRF). Responsible to ensure that no new accession is loaded into a currently occupied position. Prepares and processes drafts and working papers, documents, correspondence, reports, and other items as required. Oversees the coordination, assignment, and reporting of ISRs with over 80 units throughout the state. Using the Automated Unit Vacancy System develops, manages and maintains working relationship with RCT NCOs and RCCCs located at active duty installations to increase Army National Guard market share. Utilizing IPERMS, IPPS-A, and REDD reporting systems independently informs with units to ensure ISRs have reported to their new duty assignment. Maintains working relationship with RCT NCO’s on Active-Duty Installations. Assist State Vacancy Management NCO with IPPS-A position freezes in support of new enlisted accessions, including the un-freezing of unused positions. Works with MEPS GC’s to validate position vacancies during the enlistment process. Routinely scrubs frozen positions to ensure erroneous assignments have not been created, including double slotting single positions. Qualifications: Individual must have a valid Secret security clearance (or higher) or be able to obtain one. Extensive knowledge of the GAARNG Recruiting and Retention Mission is required. Experience as an Army National Guard Recruiter is required. Good presentation, written, and oral skills are required. Applicant must demonstrate a working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs. Normal work week, normal office work hours. Occasional travel for training and/or conferences. This position is contingent upon award of a contract.
