Job Description:
The Environmental Health, and Safety Admin will provide administrative support to the Safety Director and Safety Manger.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Inspects job sites to identify safety, health, and environmental risks.
Working on site specific safety plans (1-2 weekly).
Enter data into safety software.
Software maintenance for New/Exiting EEs.
Distribute certain items to specific employees (inventory management).
Follow through with incident and injury claims.
Other Duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
90% Office - sitting and working on a computer.
10% Field - driving to job sites to assist with safety incidents.
Extrovert with a can-do attitude.
Education & Experience
AA degree or 2+ years of experience
Skills:
Knowledge of environmental regulations and policies.
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate with all levels of the organization.
Not afraid to speak to employees (possibly in a group setting) regarding training, safety policies, standards, and outcomes.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Suits, Safety Software, Math, and Data Entry.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time.
