Up to $16 hour starting and good benefits for full time -40 hours PTO available after initial 90 days of employment as a full time employee, Medical, Dental, Vision and other benefits available

No Late Nights!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Good organizational skills and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  2. Responsible for the daily operations of the dining room as related to the position.
  3. Ensure residents are satisfied with the experience and resolve complaints.
  4. Serve meals in a professional manner, demonstrating a genuine concern to please residents and guests.
  5. Follow safe food handling and sanitation practices.
  6. Perform all side work and setup/breakdown duties as assigned.
  7. Ensure that residents and guests receive high-quality food in a timely fashion.
  8. Wait on tables and assist other staff as needed.
  9. Follow all dining standards of service.
  10. Keep accurate records and information as directed by the Dining Services Director.
  11. Assists in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of the dining room and kitchen.
  12. Attends all meetings and in-services as requested by Director.
  13. Is observant and aware of any situations or occurrences in the community that may pose a safety hazard to residents or staff. Report such observation immediately to the supervisor.
  14. Performs other duties as may from time to time be requested by Director.

 

 
Position Requirements
  • Must possess exemplary work ethics.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English so as to understand and be understood by residents, staff, and families.
  • Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull a minimum of 40 pounds.
  • Must be able to move about the community quickly and be able to physically assist residents and/or staff in event of an emergency.
  • High school diploma or equivalent. Two years prior experience preferred as a server.
  • Must successfully acquire food handling certificates in accordance with regulatory agencies.
