Since 1971, Hampton-Newport News Community Services Board has provided a comprehensive continuum of high-quality, essential, and community-based services to citizens of the Peninsula who are affected by mental illness, developmental disabilities, and substance use disorders.
Children Comprehensive Outpatient Services provides short-term, solution-focused mental health and substance abuse services provided to young people and families. The range of services includes individual, group and family therapy, comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, social assessments, and medication education and management.
The Licensed Clinician (LPC, LCSW or LMFT) manages a caseload of managed care clients with mental illness and/or co-occurring substance-related disorders in an outpatient setting involving assessment evaluations of incoming clients and ongoing therapy. Involves decision-making and application of complex theoretical approaches to individual, group, family therapy, and educational sessions.

Requirements:
LPC, LCSW, or LMFT licensed professional with two (2) years of clinical experience including therapeutic counseling, crisis intervention, and case management functions. Must be eligible or approved for MCO credentialing.
