Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Annual Salary: $46,488
Work Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30a - 5:00pm with on-call responsibilities
Since 1971, Hampton-Newport News Community Services Board has provided a comprehensive continuum of high-quality, essential, and community-based services to citizens of the Peninsula who are affected by mental illness, developmental disabilities, and substance use disorders.
The LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) monitors the ongoing medical needs of clients in the IDD Facilities. Performs ongoing nursing assessments and arranges access for clients to other medical services, including physicians, occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech, etc. Responsible for the oversight of medication management at the facility. Develops and implements nursing care plans and other clinical documentation.

Requirements: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with one (1) year of clinical experience including medication administration in a community program, hospital, and nursing home setting. Previous ICF/IDD and/or Mental health experience preferred—valid Virginia Driver’s License.
