Since 1971, the Hampton-Newport News Community Services Board has provided a comprehensive continuum of high-quality, essential, and community-based services to citizens of the Peninsula who are affected by mental illness, developmental disabilities, and substance use disorders.
The Credentialing and Procurement Coordinator oversees the procurement process and inquiries for various services and equipment purchases. Manages the coordination of the Request for Proposal (RFP) process, Invitation for Bid (IFB), and contracts for the agency. Prepares and maintains contracts, RFPs and IFPs in the contract database, tracking due dates, payment amounts, and terms & conditions. Has oversight of the credentialing and re-credentialing of the CSB and its clinicians with various insurance agencies. Assist in updating agency policies for procurement and credentialing.

Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Healthcare, or related field and 1 year OR 3-5 years of credentialing or procurement experience. Behavioral Health or MCO experience preferred. Public procurement experience and credentialing certification are a plus.
