Description

JOB SUMMARY                   

The administrative assistant supports the Development & Marketing Team to ensure organizational and financial stability.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 

Work with the Director of Development & Marketing to:           

  • Oversee Development & Marketing budgets.
  • Utilize the eTapestry, donor database.
  • Scheduling and calendar management.
  • Assist with day-to-day operations.
  • Responsible for managing department activities.

 

Work with the Development & Marketing Team to:

  • Provide support and backup to the Data Management Specialist.
  • Enter online donations and update donor records in eTapestry.
  • Create and distribute meeting agendas, reminders, and minutes.
  • Proofread, print, assemble and distribute agency materials and collateral.
  • Manage time and attendance in NovaTime.
  • Organize and coordinate Days of Caring.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

 

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES: 

  • Must be a strong team player with an extensive understanding of office administrative procedures and development functions. 
  • Strategic multitasking and resourcefulness.
  • Must have impeccable organizational skills, along with excellent attention to detail and a strong willingness to learn.
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills with good judgment and the ability to maintain discretion appropriately.
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  Associate degree and/or work equivalent.
