JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
•Build and foster a positive, engaging selling culture of high performers.
•Work with AREA15’s C-suite to develop strategies and tactics to expand AREA15’s retail business
•Work with departmental leaders to ensure that the retail business is being intergrated into other aspects of AREA15’s business (events, F&B) to drive growth and explore new opportunities.
•Develop annual sales forecasts, budgets, and quarterly and monthly sales goals for all retail venues.
•Meet and exceed revenue and profit objectives.
•Create and manage key performance indicators for retail operations.
•Provide regular (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual) performance analysis on a current, monthly comparison and budget comparison basis for all retail venues.
•Approve and oversee product plans for all retail venues are implemented, deployed, executed on, and adhered to.
•Ensure opportunities for redress and improvement on performance against product plan is addressed.
•Ensure inventory, stock levels and merchandise display meet the brand standards of each retail venue.
•Collaborate cross-functionally daily to design cost effective and efficient processes to address business needs to achieve a maximum margin while demonstrating excellent leadership.
•Monitor product performance and adjust visual displays or pricing accordingly.
•Create and elevate a “culture of sale” by leading and motivating sales team members to exceed monthly sales goals working closely with the retail management team to identify monthly, quarterly, and annual goals.
•Ensure daily in-store operations is smooth and successful and team members are provided with tools to be successful in their role.
•Develop and execute an annual calendar with events, promotions, and holidays.
•Develop retail event strategy; oversee the preparation, supplying, logistics and event day for pop-ups booths while working closely with vendors for profitable retail events.
•Ensure the outlet is clean, organized, and to brand standards at all times.
•Oversee merchandising strategy in terms of product selection, order quantities, margin, and quality
•Oversee retail warehouse operational workflow.
•Oversee inventory management including monthly inventory counts, reconciliations, variance resolution, pricing updates, programming, and stock levels for reorders.
•Develop social media strategy and create content for channels, working closely with the AREA15 Marketing and Creative teams.
•Resolve any guest issues and complaints in a timely manner and turn them into guest loyalty.
•Resolve issues, complaints, or conflicts between associates, ensuring fairness to all parties while following company policies and procedures.
•Have knowledge of key festivals and understand their fashion trends to ensure the retai venues can support the needs of their attendees.
•Embrace the brand and culture of AREA15 and its retail venues, assisting in establishing AREA15 as a fashion and art destination.
•Ensure the customer’s journey is our priority in everything we do.
•Create ART! Experience for all internal and external guests.
•Perform other duties as assigned.
