Their monument division produces granite memorials and markers, custom granite signage, and engraved brick pavers, and they also engage in wholesale monument sales. Pre/Post-Inspection: Conduct thorough inspections of all products before and after concrete placement to ensure compliance with quality standards. Quality Control Testing: Lift and perform quality control tests on samples, meticulously documenting test results. Production Test Documentation: Effectively document production test results and provide valuable feedback to the plant manager to maintain product compliance with specifications and requirements. QC Plan Development: Collaborate in the development and refinement of the Quality Control (QC) plan, enhancing quality assurance processes. Material Consistency: Verify that concrete raw materials are consistently mixed to maintain product quality. Production Support: Assist with production tasks when required, fostering a collaborative team environment. Regulatory Compliance: Stay up to date with National Precast Concrete Association (NPCA) guidelines to ensure adherence to industry standards. Product Repairs: Undertake repair tasks for products that do not meet quality specifications and requirements.   Position Requirements Concrete Experience: Preferred, at least 1 year of experience in concrete industry. Quality Control: Preferred, a minimum of 3 years of experience in quality control. Construction Background: A minimum of 3 years of experience in the construction industry. Education: High school diploma is required; a college degree is advantageous. Mathematical Aptitude: Proficiency in mathematical calculations for physical and volumetric property verification. Certifications: ACI Concrete Strength Testing Technician Level 1, ACI Aggregate Testing Tech certification, and PCI 1 certification are advantageous. Driving Record: Must maintain a good driving record. Manufacturing Experience: Prior experience working in a manufacturing plant is a plus. Computer Skills: Intermediate skills in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Leadership: Strong leadership skills.
