Generally these transports are passenger services only but may occasionally include transport of a patient in an authorized ambulance. Employees in this position must be able to: At Elite Medical Transport our paratransit drivers (PTD) transport wheelchair bound and ambulatory patients in a safe manner. This position is responsible for picking up and dropping off passengers at pre-determined times. This position is also responsible for documentation of trips and collection of payment when applicable. The PTD must have excellent navigation skills and be able to utilize app based transportation programs. The PTD must also possess excellent safety and problem solving skills.
