Valley Community Services Board is an equal opportunity employer and a drug free workplace.   Open Date 9/8/2023   Close Date 10/9/2023   Position School-Based Outpatient Clinician   Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time   Exempt/Non-Exempt Exempt   Shift Days   Req Number CLI-23-00064   Number of Openings 1   Number Filled 0   Description Valley Community Services Board is seeking licensed, or licensed-eligible clinicians to provide behavioral health and substance use services to children, adolescents, and their families in the public school systems of the City of Staunton, City of Waynesboro, Augusta County, and Highland County public school systems. Benefits: Clinical license supervision and continuing education provided at no cost. Health Insurance as low as $20.00/month for individuals. Family and dependent plans are also available. Sign-on bonus of $1,500.00 included in full with the first paycheck. Up to 10% compensation increase available for obtaining relevant certifications. Nine paid holidays annually. Accrue up to 20 days of paid time off (PTO) per year from year one. PTO is immediately available upon accrual. Participation in the Virginia Retirement System. Summary of Essential Functions: Provides individual, family, and group counseling services for children and adolescents experiencing mental health and substance use challenges, including individuals with co-occurring disorder. Provides crisis stabilization and emergency services as needed. Conducts mental health and substance abuse evaluations, including the evaluation of treatment needs, and develops treatment plans. Works collaboratively with teammates and external partners to provide a range of treatments and support services. Qualifications: Master’s degree in social work or related field from an accredited program. LMHP-eligible in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Preferred Qualifications Current LCSW, LPC, or similar certification in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Valley Community Services Board is an equal employment opportunity employer.
