Supervisor of Supportive Housing

Wyandot BHN is seeking a dedicated full-time Supervisor of Supportive Housing to join our supportive housing team! The purpose of the Manager of Supportive Housing is to provide supervision to a team of case managers on the supportive housing team.  The team provides services to adults with severe and persistent mental illness (SPMI) who are provided intensive case management services in their housing environments.  

Accountabilities:

  • Provides active supervision of the supportive housing team
  • Oversees the provision of case management served by the team through the continuous treatment team model
  • Assures timely documentation of services conducted by team
  • Assures standards for productivity and quality are met
  • Leads daily continuous treatment team meetings to assign tasks and work with team to ensure needs of consumers served are met
  • Coordinates with internal providers and community agencies and assures appropriate follow through of services for consumers
  • Conducts weekly group and individual supervision as needed
  • Models strengths and recovery based services in the field with case managers
  • Participates in departmental meetings and other meetings associated with supportive housing and case management services
  • Responsible for ongoing implementation and practice of IDDT (Integrated Dual Disorder Treatment) Evidence-Based Practice on the team, including use of stage-wise interventions, motivational interviewing, and assertive outreach

Qualifications:

  • Master degree in a social services or related field and be licensed by the Kansas Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board preferred such as an LMSW, LMFT, LPC, LMLP LCP, OR LSCSW.

  • Familiar with treatment approaches and needs of adults with SPMI.
  • Able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to establish effective working relationships with Center staff and community agencies.
  • Ability to provide direction for programming and planning purposes.
  • Ability to recognize and be sensitive to cultural and ethnic differences.
  • Must be able to safely perform the essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations.

Pay Range 65k-73k depending on license and experience
