More than 25,000 people in our community are served every year by YWCA Minneapolis, through hundreds of programs, classes and support groups.   We are looking to hire a strong, mission aligned, Senior Accountant for our Finance and Accounting Team.   The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a variety of accounting functions including oversite of the month end close process, management and reconciliation of G/L accounts, financial reporting, journal entries (including month end closing entries), audit assistance and preparation (including form 990 preparation), and financial management related to grants.   As a key player within the Finance and Accounting department, you will offer senior level accounting guidance to others on the accounting team as well as providing assistance to the Controller and CFO as needed.   Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting Minimum 5 years general accounting experience including financial management and reporting. CPA preferred but not required.
