Share Email Opening Title Compliance Administrator  Req Number OTH-23-00037   Requisition Category Active   Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time   Location Washington, DC   Description The Compliance Administrator will support in developing and overseeing the implementation departmental policies and procedures for the administration of the Federal Advisory Committee Act (FACA) and for providing technical assistance to organizational counterparts to facilitate compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements. Additional Responsibilities Include, but are not Limited To: Creating draft documents that are in compliance with FACA-related laws and policies. Reviewing draft documents and making proposed edits or recommendations to ensure that they are in compliance with FACA-related laws and policies. Tracking and coordinating clearance of documentation supporting the establishment and continued operation of Federal Advisory Committees. Communicating and coordinating with the Committee Management Officer, Committee Liaison Officer, and Bureau staff to ensure ongoing compliance with FACA-related legal and regulatory requirements. Evaluating existing FACA-related policies and procedures, including the Department’s FACA Handbook, to ensure compliance with applicable legal and policy requirements. Creating helpful job aids that communicate FACA-related processes and requirements, which stakeholders can reference and use to enhance FACA-related business operations. Partnering with internal DOC stakeholders to understand and review current FACA-related processes and proposing way to increase operational efficiency. Assisting with the implementation of FACA-related provisions of the Executive Order (E.O. 14035) on Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility. Assisting with proposal development, if necessary.
