Position Title: HVAC Technician
Location: Trump Winery in Charlottesville, VA - 15 minutes south of Charlottesville city limits, 20 minutes north of Scottsville
Hours: Full-Time, on-site. 40 hours per week, Typical Shift: M-F 8am to 4pm

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of HVAC systems, including industrial systems and chillers, to ensure their efficient operation.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose complex issues with heating, cooling, and ventilation systems, utilizing your expertise in industrial equipment and advanced refrigeration technologies.
- Install, repair, and replace HVAC components, including chillers, compressors, motors, and complex control systems.
- Perform electrical and plumbing repairs as needed, ensuring the functionality and safety of all systems.
- Collaborate with other team members to develop preventive maintenance schedules and implement energy-saving measures.
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs, installations, and maintenance activities.
- Demonstrate flexibility and multitasking abilities by assisting with other tasks and projects as needed, such as supporting other departments or participating in special events.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven experience as an HVAC technician, with a strong background in industrial systems, chillers, and complex refrigeration technologies.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems, including troubleshooting and repair techniques.
- Familiarity with advanced HVAC control systems, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and building automation systems (BAS).
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and manuals related to industrial HVAC systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Possession of a valid HVAC technician license or certification is preferred.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces.
- Valid Driver’s License required
