Position Overview: As a Dental Hygienist at Community First Health Centers, you will play a crucial role in promoting oral health and preventing dental diseases. Our ideal candidate is not only proficient in clinical dental hygiene procedures but also possesses excellent communication skills to educate and engage patients in maintaining optimal oral hygiene. You will work closely with our experienced dental team to contribute to the overall well-being of our patients.  Key Responsibilities: Perform thorough dental cleanings and preventative procedures. Conduct patient assessments and charting. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and disease prevention. Collaborate with dentists to develop individualized treatment plans. Stay updated on the latest dental hygiene techniques and technologies. This position offers a $2,500 Sign on bonus This is a part time position at this time potentially leading to a full-time opportunity at our Port Huron location. Work hours to be determined based on need of the dental clinic.  Clinic is open Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, 6:30 am - 5:00 pm, Tuesday 8:30 am to 7:00 pm and off Friday - Sunday.   Why work for Community First Health Centers? Supportive team environment focused on collaboration and growth.   Community First Health Centers: Improving the quality of life for our community!!   Position Requirements Qualifications: Associates and/or Bachelors degree from a Dental Hygienist school/program Active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license required Current certification to administer Local Anesthetic & Nitrous Oxide Sedation Ability to maintain confidentiality in all matters at all times Ability to work independently and with minimal guidance Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, to effectively and tactfully deal with a diverse group of patients, staff, customers and community groups Computer proficiency including experience with EMR system(s) Must maintain Basic Life Support certification   Full-Time/Part-Time Part-Time   Location Port Huron Dental   About the Organization Community First Health Centers is a non-profit, Federal Qualified Community Health Center.
