Turning Point Community Programs is seeking a Program Support Assistant II for our Coloma Center program in Roseville. Turning Point Community Programs (TPCP) provides integrated, cost-effective mental health services, employment and housing for adults, children and their families that promote recovery, independence and self-sufficiency. SUMMARY: Responsible for a wide variety of secretarial duties and provides support to the Program Director in the management of the office.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may also be assigned:

  • Maintains census records and paperwork as required.
  • Performs word processing tasks.
  • Provides typing services to program which includes memos, progress notes, and correspondence.
  • Maintains orderly files and assures that an adequate supply of office supplies and forms are on hand.
  • Maintains appointment books and bills for doctors’ services.
  • Provides receptionist duties, including receiving and answering all telephone calls and taking accurate messages.
  • Schedules appointments.
  • Maintains awareness of staff locations and destinations.
  • Provides support for medication acquisition, when needed.
  • Purchases food for members, as needed.
  • Maintains and assists staff in using office equipment.
  • Assists members in accessing services.
  • Collects and distributes agency mail.
  • Provides support to Program Director and Team Leaders as assigned.
  • Enforces the policies and procedures of Turning Point Community Programs.
  • Attends all staff meetings unless approval for non-attendance is secured by the Assistant Program Director or Program Director.
  • Is personally responsible and held accountable for work hours and time management as coordinated with management team.        
  • Meets the standards set for performance in all aspects of job duties.

 

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm.

Compensation: $18.00 - $20.16 per hour

Position Requirements

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

Graduation from a two-year college with an AA degree. Minimum of one year performing a variety of office duties. Must be able to type 40-50 wpm and use a word processor. Knowledge of Word Perfect 5.1 and Microsoft Word is required. Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for education.
