Description

JOB SUMMARY: Work involves a wide variety of involved clerical operations, requiring the interpretation of broad guidelines.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Performs moderate level administrative functions (word processing, excel, and/or other MS Office applications)
  2. May assist with bi-weekly and hourly payroll information
  3. Prepares bank deposits and statements of revenue as needed (N/A)
  4. Prepares and submits billings as needed
  5. Assists with statistical reporting and facilities management as needed
  6. Responsible for disbursement, maintenance and reconciliation of petty cash as required (N/A)
  7. Establishes, maintains and updates the filing system
  8. Compiles reports; updates, checks and completes records, forms and documents
  9. Processes and distributes confidential and sensitive documents
  10. Answers phones, greets customers
  11. Performs other general clerical duties (typing, filing, distributing mail, etc.)
  12. Operates and maintains a variety of office equipment

SUPERVISORY REQUIREMENTS: Possibly

 
Position Requirements

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Comprehensive knowledge of and skilled in office administrative procedures.  Attention to detail in composing, typing, and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma/GED + 3 years of related work experience; OR 1 year of college + 2 years related work experience. Proficient in word processing, spreadsheets and/or other office applications. Ability to pass skills test as applicable. One year of supervisory experience, if applicable.
